The Season of Light
December is often called the season of light — candles in windows, houses glowing on winter nights, celebrations that bring people together around warmth and brightness. But beyond the decorations and traditions, there’s a deeper truth: this is the time when our collective radiance matters most.
Light has always been symbolic of hope, connection, and resilience. When the nights are long and the air feels heavy, we lean on light — both physical and spiritual — to carry us through. And here’s the beautiful part: radiance doesn’t just live in one person. It grows when we share it.
This season, I’m reminded that radiance isn’t only about shining for myself. It’s about the way my light can spark something in someone else. A kind word, a helping hand, a moment of presence — all of these are ways of sharing radiance. Sometimes the smallest gestures create the brightest glow.
So yes, December holds its magic in the twinkle lights and gatherings. But the deeper magic is in how we choose to embody that light for one another. This is the season of radiance, not because the world is perfect, but because we keep choosing to shine anyway.
What’s one way you can share your light with someone else this week?
Choose one act of kindness — big or small — and let it be your gift of radiance. Share it in the comments if you feel called, so we can spread light together.
XOXO
