Learning to Receive More Without Feeling Guilty About It
Receiving sounds so simple … but for so many women, it’s one of the hardest things to do.
We’re good at giving.
We’re good at showing up.
We’re good at being strong, helpful, and dependable.
But when it comes to letting love, support, kindness, or abundance flow toward us?
It can feel uncomfortable.
Awkward.
Almost wrong.
And yet — this is the month of abundance.
And abundance has one rule:
You have to be open to receiving.
Not because you're needy.
Not because you're weak.
But because you are a human being, and humans were never meant to carry life alone.
Why receiving feels hard (even when we want it)
Receiving triggers old beliefs like:
“I don’t want to be a burden.”
“I should be able to do this myself.”
“Other people have it worse.”
“I’m not used to good things staying.”
“What if I can’t give back the same amount?”
These beliefs were taught — not born.
And anything learned can be unlearned.
You’re not wrong for struggling with receiving.
You’ve just gone too long without being poured into.
Abundance is not something you chase — it’s something you allow.
The energy of abundance isn’t active or forceful.
It’s soft.
It’s gentle.
It’s a flow, not a fight.
And receiving is part of that flow.
When you allow good things in — a compliment, help, love, an opportunity, a moment of rest — you’re telling your nervous system:
“We’re safe now. We don’t have to over-function just to be worthy.”
That’s powerful.
That’s healing.
That’s abundance.
A simple practice to open your receiving energy
Try this today:
When someone offers you something — support, kindness, help, praise — pause before you deflect.
Instead of saying, “It’s fine,” “I’ve got it,” or “Don’t worry about me,”
try this: “Thank you.”
Just two words. Let them land.
Let yourself feel what it’s like to accept — without apologizing, shrinking, or explaining.
Every time you do this, you widen your capacity to receive more.
You deserve to be supported.
The story that says you must do everything alone?
It’s outdated.
It’s tired.
It’s not part of your abundant life.
You’re allowed to have people who show up for you.
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to receive good things without guilt.
You’re allowed to be held by your life instead of wrestling with it.
This is what becoming a rich woman looks like — not just financially, but emotionally, spiritually, energetically.
Rich in love.
Rich in support.
Rich in ease.
Today, choose one small thing to receive fully.
Let someone help.
Let yourself rest.
Say yes to something supportive.
Then write this down: “Receiving is safe for me.”
You don’t have to earn love, help, tenderness, or abundance.
You just have to make space for it.
You’re learning to receive — gently, bravely, beautifully.
And I’m cheering you on every step of the way.
XOXO
