Loving Being a Woman (Even When It’s Hard)
There was a time I didn’t love being a woman.
Not fully.
I loved parts of it.
The softness.
The beauty.
The connection.
But I didn’t love the pressure.
The expectations.
The emotional weight.
The responsibility of holding everything together.
Being a woman is layered.
We are taught to be strong — but not too strong.
Soft — but not weak.
Ambitious — but still agreeable.
Independent — but nurturing.
Brave — but quiet about it.
And somewhere in all of that, we start shrinking.
Shrinking our voice.
Shrinking our dreams.
Shrinking our needs.
But something shifts when you decide to love being a woman on purpose.
Not because it’s glamorous.
Not because it’s praised.
But because it’s powerful.
I love being a woman because we rebuild.
We endure.
We evolve.
We carry generations forward with the way we speak, lead and live.
I love that we can feel deeply and still stand firmly.
That we can nurture and lead.
That we can break and still rise.
Being a woman isn’t one thing.
It’s becoming.
It’s shedding old stories.
It’s choosing courage.
It’s refusing to apologize for taking up space.
It’s healing what hurt us so it doesn’t continue.
And if you’re raising a daughter?
She is watching.
Not what you post.
Not what you say.
But how you live.
Loving being a woman doesn’t mean it’s easy.
It means you’ve decided not to shrink anymore.
And that decision?
That’s brave.
If this resonated, share it with a woman who is learning to take up space.
And if you’re building something in this world — a family, a business, a legacy — do it unapologetically.
You are allowed to love who you are becoming.
